Trash The Dress - The After Wedding Session { Overlook Mountain } Tonya & Steve

It's not everyday that a bride and groom ask you to hike a solid hour up a steep mountain to what's left of a hotel that never saw it's first guest. Overlook Mountain is in Woodstock and it's no joke. But when you get to the top, it's breathtaking. Thank you Tonya and Steve for having such big ideas and letting us make them come true.

If you live in the area and you have never been to Overlook Mountain, I totally recommend it.  Bring good hiking shoes- it's an hour uphill climb.  The payoff is amazing!

Sunrise Snowfall Session with Tamme Stitt { Photography }

Tamme is a very special person to me and a fellow photographer.  And she just told me that she has never been on the other side of her camera.  Like, for real.  In a real photo shoot... anything more than a snapshot.
So we went out this morning in the freshly fallen snow.

And she. totally. rocked. it.

Oh my gosh.

Thank you for all that you do and all that you are Tamme.  I am proud to call you friend.

Rainy Day Wedding at The Clermont { Germantown, NY } Erica & Griffin

These two lovebirds decided to have a weekend wedding to split up the ceremony and the reception and we were there to capture some gorgeous portraits and their ceremony.  They had a small, intimate ceremony in the gardens of The Historical Clermont Mansion in Germantown, NY.  The grounds are gorgeous and had so many wonderful places to take portraits.  It was raining when we pulled in but by the time the bride arrived the sky had dried up and the sun even popped out for ten minutes!  It stayed nice and clear all the way through the beautiful ceremony and then right as we were finishing the last of the portraits it started drizzling again and those shots were easily some of my favorites.
Congratulations Erica & Griffin.  Let us know when your next movie comes out!

Yellow light, rain on warm pavement, and a light drizzle.  The perfect recipe for romantic.
